Philanthropist & Technology Entrepreneur

David Bohnett

David Bohnett is a philanthropist and technology entrepreneur committed to facilitating positive change through community building and social activism. As Chair of the David Bohnett Foundation, he supports a broad spectrum of arts, educational and civic programs including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, LACMA, CicLAvia's car-free street events, LGBTQ-related causes, graduate school leadership programs at the University of Michigan, UCLA, New York University and Harvard University, as well as voting rights and registration initiatives, and research and public policies to reduce the toll of firearm violence.

David is a Trustee and Vice Chair of the Board at USC and an Honorary Life Board Member of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association. He holds honorary doctorates from Whittier College and USC, an MBA from Michigan and an undergraduate business degree from USC. David shares our founder's passion about community support, animal wellbeing and animal rights, as well as her love for Los Angeles.

Adrienne Green

Adrienne Green is an entrepreneur and civic leader in Los Angeles and a nationally recognized bridge instructor and player. She is a lover of animals and was a long-time close friend of our founder Wallis Annenberg. Adrienne is enthusiastically committed to carrying on Wallis' work and vision. She was a past president of Barrington Bridge Club in Los Angeles.

Paul "Page" Hoeper

Consultant & Corporate Director

Paul "Page" Hoeper

Paul J. "Page" Hoeper is a consultant, corporate director, and philanthropist. He chairs the Foundation's investment committee. He also chairs the board of Quest Defense Systems & Solutions, an engineering firm focused on aerospace and defense.

Page has held significant roles in government, including Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics and Technology) and Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (International and Commercial Programs). He managed large-scale Army acquisition programs and international defense projects.

Page has earned multiple honors for his public service and philanthropic efforts. His accolades include the Army Decoration for Distinguished Civilian Service, the Hammer Award from Vice President Al Gore, and the SANS Difference Maker Award, which he received for his work with the Defense Science Board on the Cyber Supply Chain.

Page studied engineering at Princeton and then mathematics and education at Harvard. Earlier in his career, he created and taught a business course at Stanford Law School and the USC Gould School of Law. Inspired by his decades-long friendship with Wallis Annenberg, Page is passionate about philanthropy that addresses local community needs. In 2023, Page and his spouse, Barbara, were honored with the Outstanding Philanthropist Award for Northeast Wisconsin.

Cynthia "Cinny" Kennard

Cinny Kennard has spent her career in executive leadership advancing the public good, bridging journalism, philanthropy, and civic contributions to strengthen communities and amplify voices that inspire change.

An award-winning journalist and former CBS News correspondent, Kennard reported from Los Angeles, London, and Moscow, earning the DuPont Columbia University Award for her coverage of the Persian Gulf War. She went on to help shape some of the nation's most influential media and cultural institutions. As the founding managing director of NPR West, she expanded NPR's reach and storytelling capacity across the West Coast. Later, as senior vice president of programming at the Smithsonian Institution, she led global partnerships and helped bring the Smithsonian's mission of discovery and learning to new audiences worldwide.

A trusted steward of Wallis Annenberg's philanthropic legacy, Kennard played a key role in transforming The Annenberg Retreat at Sunnylands into a hub for diplomacy and served as executive director of the Annenberg Foundation. Today, as a board member of the Wallis Annenberg Legacy Foundation, she helps guide the Foundation's work to advance the causes Wallis championed, expanding opportunity, access, and connection for people and communities everywhere.

David Ulich

David Ulich is a highly respected Los Angeles attorney who combines deep expertise in business, corporate, and tax law with a lifelong passion for advancing philanthropy, sports, and the arts. For decades, he has advised high-profile foundations, nonprofits, and charitable organizations—including the American Film Institute, Childhelp USA, Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, and Mission Without Borders—helping them navigate complex tax, regulatory, and governance challenges while fostering impactful growth.

In addition to his legal and philanthropic work, David is an award-winning documentary filmmaker who has elevated some of the most important and untold stories in sports history—from Munich to Maui. His critically acclaimed productions include At the Heart of Gold: Inside the USA Gymnastics Scandal, which earned the News & Documentary Emmy Award for Outstanding Social Impact Documentary, as well as other films that shed light on resilience, justice, courage and the enduring power of the human spirit.

A graduate of Haverford College, UCLA School of Law, and NYU's tax LLM program, David's career has been defined by his ability to build bridges across sectors—creating strategic public-private partnerships, strengthening nonprofit governance, and amplifying voices that inspire global change and make a positive impact for all. Like Legacy Foundation Namesake Wallis Annenberg, David loves sports, just as Wallis Annenberg did. And, like Wallis, he wants to leave a legacy of love. David's career and life is a testament to the belief that sport, law, and philanthropy together can shape a fairer, safer, and more compassionate world.
